The latest gadgets in technology like wireless reading devices allow busy people to bring along their favorite books and magazines. Digital data format for sure is much lighter than the same amount in books. Further more, the ease of gaining access to the latest best seller or sought after readingmaterial while being mobile is unchallenged. Amazon’s Kindle design and Sony have the right of calling their wireless reading devices the most popular portable Ebook readers for now. Other good eBook Devices are HanLin, iRex and StarEbook.

The exciting iPad 2 media event was finally brought to a close and Steve Jobs unveiled the specs for the upcoming iPad 2 – all-new design is what we get at a glance of it. Thinner, lighter, faster, FaceTime, smart cover, 10-hour battery, are what the new iPad 2 features. And most of the features are what iPad 2 rumors expected, the only things we are surprised is the addition of direct video output. Anyway, that's great.
Here's the main features the new iPad 2:
33% thinner than the first iPad at 0.34". It’s 9.5" high and 7.3" wide.
Up to 15% Lighter, at 1.33 pounds (601g) versus 1.6 pounds (723g) for the current iPad.
Dual-core A5 processors to improve speed - two powerful cores in one A5 chip mean iPad can do twice the work at once. Multitasking is smoother, apps load faster, and everything just works better. High-performance and low-power.
Superfast graphics - graphics will run up to 9x faster while using the same battery life, gameplay on iPad is even smoother and more realistic.
Twin cameras - Rear camera is 720p resolution, and the front one is "VGA quality" which is meant to be used for Facetime chat primarily.
Gyroscope for position-based apps, now the accelerometer, three-axis gyroscope, and compass all work together.
Smart Cover - iPad 2 and the iPad Smart Cover are made for each other.
Starts at the same price: $499. So it won't be dramatically cheaper as some had proposed. It also comes in the same models as the current version: Wi-Fi and 3G (Verizon or AT&T) in 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB sizes.

Amazon Kindle is a software and hardware platform developed by Amazon.com (Lab126) for the rendering and displaying of e-books and other digital media. Three hardware devices, known as "Kindle", "Kindle 2", and "Kindle DX" support this platform. Kindle software applications exist for Windows, iOS, BlackBerry, Mac OS X and Android. Amazon's first hardware device, the Kindle First Generation, was released only in the United States on November 19, 2007.
The Kindle hardware device uses an E Ink brand electronic paper display that features 16 shades of gray. It wirelessly downloads content over Amazon's Whispernet using the Sprint EVDO network in the USA. Newer Kindle 2 devices use AT&T's network and its roaming partners for international wireless access. The Kindle hardware device is used without a computer connection, and Amazon Whispernet is accessible without any monthly fee or wireless subscription. All Kindle models provide free access to the Internet in the U.S. over cellular networks.
On March 3, 2009, Amazon.com launched an application called Kindle for iPhone in the iTunes App Store, allowing iPhone and iPod Touch owners to read Kindle content on those devices. Through a technology called "Whispersync", customers can connect reading progress, bookmarks and other information across Kindle hardware devices and other mobile devices.
Amazon announced the Kindle DX on May 6, 2009. This device has a larger screen than its predecessors and supports simple PDF files. It also is the thinnest Kindle to date and offers an accelerometer, which enables the user to seamlessly rotate pages between landscape and portrait orientations when the Kindle DX is turned on its side. It is marketed as more suitable for displaying newspaper and textbook content.
Amazon released the Kindle for PC free of charge, allowing users to read Kindle books on a Windows PC. Amazon also released a version for the Macintosh.
